Iran to allow IAEA to monitor nuclear programme
Tehran : A top Iranian nuclear official Saturday said that Tehran would not keep the disputed nuclear activities secret but would allow the UN atomic agency to monitor its program, the state radio reported.
Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Tehran's representative to the IAEA dismissed reports that Iran wouldn't send information about its nuclear activities to the IAEA.
"Inspection and cooperation (with the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA) will continue and there's no change or any suspension," Soltanieh was quoted as saying.
"There's no problem. IAEA inspectors have supervised all Iranian nuclear activities, including enrichment work," he added.
Iran had earlier vowed to limit cooperation with the IAEA after the UN Security Council imposed sanctions on Tehran.
