Latino music chain removes Lopez's songs
Los Angeles : One of the biggest Latino music chains in the US has removed all of singer Jennifer Lopez's songs from their stores because they allege that she has not paid any attention to Hispanic shops.
Ritmo Latino, the chain that has 50 stores across the country, is permanently removing all of Lopez's music from their shelves because she "has refused personally to promote her new CD in any of our stores" and other Latino-only retail outlets, said David Massry, president of the chain.
"We've supported her from the beginning. Now we're told by her record company that she will only visit Anglo retail outlets," he was quoted as saying by www.Hollywood.tv.
