Li Gong warned against working in Hollywood
London : "House of Flying Daggers" director Zhang Ziyou has warned ex-girlfriend, actress Li Gong, to not work full time in Hollywood because it is "too limited" for Chinese actors.
Zhang, who teamed up with Li for "Curse of the Golden Flower", acknowledges that the actress has had a certain amount of success but Hollywood may not give her enough challenging roles in future, reports contactmusic.com.
He said: "For sure, Hollywood can give her a bigger range of characters. But I'm not sure she can play to her best in Hollywood. It's too limited."
