For a while now people have been asking to know more about me who I am and what I really do for a living when I'm not working. They have also asked me numerous time how I got started in this addicting habit we all share: Writing articles, poems and sharing elegant pictures. So I think it's about time I take some time for myself and tell you a little bit about who I am, where I've been and how I got started writing. You know something, Writing is one of the most reliable and effective ways to heal, change and grow and it takes the form of a notebook, computer screen or blank book creates a present-centered between the past and the future. The power of writing is accessible to anyone who desires self-directed change. It requires no special talent, skills or experience - only a willingness to explore moments of ecstasy and moments of despair.
My name is Sumona Das and I am the youngest child. I have one elder brother (4 years elder than me), I won't tell you how old I am, as that's NOT really important, but I will tell you that my father is an officer in AIR Force. I was born in Calcutta, on India.
As a real profession, I write scripts for Etv Bangla and worked with Director and Producer Sudipto Sen. I've been scripting for 3 years and I must say that it has, for the most part, been very rewarding. When I come home from a long hard workout, I am always hyped up and excited. I like to sit down in front of my computer, pull out my write ups or one that I like perceiving again and again, and plug it in. It relaxes me. I usually grab a stack of paper, a legal pad or printer paper (whichever is most handy) and start writing from the very first scene of my inner imagination. Next, I'll pull out a blank file folder, label it and set it aside for later. I think this is how I become interested in writing and composed my first walkthrough, which was published in "GALAXY CHORINCAL" and the most exciting fact is that, that time I was studying in XIIth standard. And I decided that it was about time I put everything in writing for my various imaginations I've secretly designed. I've written another walkthrough which was published in the "WOURLD UPDATE" magazine (this is the magazine of the news world) and the article I wrote is "Delhi: The fabled city of Indraprastha" and even various articles and poems published in the Saviors. Then I decided to open a website and after a while I opened this URL where I started to composed and published my all write ups. How 'bout that?
Lastly, you know what makes me tick! I love depicting imaginations on paper. It gives me such a thrill to be able to help people with skills they're stuck on. After all writing it is an effective means of providing focus and clarity to issues, concerns, conflicts and confusions. |
