Crispy rawa Pizzas topped with corn, cheese and tomatoes. A tongue tickling snack. Add the fruit salt or Baking Soda just before you are ready to cook the Pizzas Eat these pizzas as soon as they are made
Cooking Time : 8 mins. Peparation Time : 5 mins. Makes 2 Pizzas Ingredients 1/2 cup rawa 1 cup urad dal flour 1 tablespoon curds 1 teaspoon green chillies, finely chopped 1/2 teaspoon jeera, crushed 1/4 teaspoon asafoetida (hing) 1 tablespoon chopped coriander 1/2 teaspoon Eno's fruit salt or 1/4 teaspoon Baking Soda 1 tablespoon oil salt to taste To be mixed into a topping -------------------------- cup sweet corn, boiled (optional) 1/2 cup capsicum, finely chopped 2 tomatoes, deseeded and finely chopped 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese or cooking cheese, grated Other ingredients ----------------- oil for cooking How To Proceed -------------- 1. Combine the rawa, urad dal flour, curds, green chillies, cumin seeds, asafoetida, coriander, oil, salt and approximately 1 cup of water. Mix well to get a smooth batter. 2. Add the fruit salt or Baking soda and mix gently. 3. Pre-heat a Non-Stick Pan. 4. Lightly grease the Pan with some oil, pour ½ of the Pizza batter and spread evenly. Cook for 2 minutes or until the Pizza is golden brown. 5. Sprinkle half of the topping mixture on the pizza and warm it up in an open pan for 1 to 2 minutes or until the cheese has melted. 6. Repeat with the remaining batter and ingredients to make one more pizza. 7. Serve hot with chutney or tomato sauce.
