If we stare at the period of 1930’s and 1940’s where moms used to make food with more GHEE and less water. Children used to stay outdoor rather then staying inside even in the summers.kushtis used to be as popular as wrestling today.
Today conditions are changing, people are changing rather we should say India is changing. Malls are been constructed, discos and pubs are starting to appear, fast food is replacing the traditional dhaba food. Scene of today is changing, the youth is caught in a web of modernization and corruption, it has been from the beginning remained a stiff problem for India, that people here(except some) are born genius in bribery and corruption it is as important as their birth right to take bribery even when the have high bank balances. Even high posted officers and high command politicians are not lacking in this phenomenon and if we talk about modernization let me make it clear that modernization is necessary for development of a society but the rate of modernization should be necessarily decent Either it will result in a society with a backdrop of cheap quality and anti bourgeois policies along with sharp fall in social values. This will surely not result in cultural and social development of a state. Today the youth of our country is trapped in modernization which is taking place at a very advance rate especially in cities and metros. the youth of this mystic and spiritual land are traditional but the fast changing atmosphere they are unknowingly entering a maze which will end them standing in nowhere land.Modernisation leads to one leg in past and one leg in future theory which results in a trap which results in neither modern no traditional and this dangerously harms their moral and social values. While we are trying to be western we should know that our country is having a great history and culture so we need not to find culture shelter in west but try to carry forward our tradition and alongside adapt with the changing atmosphere keeping in mind our social and moral values. Apart from it as we all know India is in a state of development the modernization is a sure phenomenon for its development. As the changing needs of people need the change in people it is inevitable that some negative features will develop with time. But we need to keep these unwanted and unenviable objects in check.
