Ingredients :
1 litre milk
6 eggs, 8 plain cakes,
2 spoons of Vanilla es-sence,
100 gm butter,
lemon juice (1-2 tsp),
guava jelly (small bottle),
200 gm sugar.
Preparation :
Mix milk and sugar and boil until it thikens to half. Cool it down. Beat egg yolks and mix it with the milk. Add two spoons of vanilla essence Take four cakes and slice them into eight pieces. Spread butter on the sliced cakes. Put the sliced cakes in a but-tered bowl. Pour half of the mixture slowly on the bowl. Coat other halves of cakes with guava jelly. Put them upon the cakes in the bowl. Pour the remaning mixture. Separate egg yolk and egg white very cau-tiously. Beat the egg whites until they turn creamy. Pour it on the cakes. Decorate with icing sugar, put it in the fridge when the mixture is cold.
