Ingredients:
500 gms Carrots (Gajar) (skinned and grated)
200 gms Khoya (mashed)
10 cahew nuts
6-8 cardamoms (powdered)
2 silver leaves (Chandi varak)
1 litre Milk
1 cup sugar or to taste
4 tsp almonds (blanched and split)
1 tsp pure ghee / unsalted butter
Preperation :
Boil the milk and sugar, then add the grated carrots. Cook together milk, sugar, grated carrots and khoya on medium heat.
Cook until the mixture thickens.
Add 1 tsp of ghee and fry lightly.
Lastly add the cashews, almonds and cardamom powder.
To be served hot garnished with silver leaves.
