1 kg whole wheat flour dough
ghee to shallow fry
For Masala
1 tsp rock salt
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
A pinch of roasted cumin
A pinch of asafoetida
For Papad Parantha
1/2 urad daal papad-fried and mashed
For Mixed Parantha
1 tbsp grated cottage cheese
1 tbsp grated peas
1 tbsp grated radish
1 tbsp grated carrot
1 tbsp grated cauliflower-sautéed with turmeric
1 tbsp papad-fried and mashed
METHOD
Make small round portions from the dough.
Roll it in the shape of a parantha and, grease a little with ghee and sprinkle the masala.
Now place stuffing in the center and fold.
Roll it again and shallow fry on high flame while turning it on a griddle.
Once done, serve with Sita Phal ki Subzi, Aloo ki Subzi, Achar or Saunth.
