Tiranga Puri

Ingredients:

Wheat flour -3 cups.
Beet root(boiled & churned)-2.
Spinach(ground)-1/2 cup.
Oil.
Ajwain a pinch.
Salt according to taste.
Turmeric-1tsp.
Water to knead.
Oil for frying.

Preparation:

Divide flour in 3 parts.
In first part put churned beet root,ajwain,oil(1 tsp),water knead it in soft dough.
In second part put spinach,salt,ajwain,oil& knead this too in dough.
In last part put turmeric,salt,ajwain ,water knead it to dough.
Keep aside covered with wet cloth for 1/2 an hour
Make pedas (round balls).
For 1 puri,press 3 pedas of 3 different coloured dough on the edge of eachother so that they make a shape of triangle.
Roll them together& fry puris serve hot puris with chutney,channa or paneer.
