Required ingredients:
1. Grated Coconut 1 Cup
2. Powdered Jagger ¾ Cup
3. Pure Ghee 2 Tea Spoons
4. Cardamom Powdered ½ Tea Spoon
5. Rice 6 Tea Spoon
Method:
Take Rice and soak it in warm water for two hours. Mix this soaked rice with a little quantity of Grated Coconut.Add about ½ cup of water and grind it in maxi. When the rice is ground well in the mixer, add remaining Grated Coconut and grind again. Add Powdered Jaggery and grind again.
Pour the above contents to a thick bottom vessel or Bandle (A Half Spherical Vessel used for frying) and heat with a low flame. Remember to constantly stir the contents while heating. When the contents of the vessel gets mixed well and when it starts solidifying, add Pure Ghee, Cardamom Powder. When Ghee is added the contents gets separated from the vessel and when stirred takes a ball shape. Continue stirring till this stage.
When the above stage is reached, pour the contents to a Plate smeared with Pure Ghee and flatten the same by beating with a flat spatula. Allow the contents to cool.
When the contents cools down, it can be shaped to either Rectangular or Diamond shape and served.
