Deedar-e-yaar kya hua ke bahaar chhaa gayee
Na Nikla Maah phir bhi chaandani chhaa gayee
Aye chaand jhuk ja unke isteqbaal ke liye tu
Ke doli me sajee meri Jaan-e-bahaar Aa gayee

जान-ए-बहार

दीदार-ए-यार क्या हुआ के बहार छा गयी
ना निकला माह फिर भी चाँदनी छा गयी
ए चाँद झुक जा उनके इस्तेक़बाल के लिये तू
के डोली मे सजी मेरी जान-ए-बहार आ गयी
