Ufaq se koi awaaz aayi,
Tere desh men badi tabdeeli aayi,
Jahan aata chawal naapaid hua,
aur bhook ne li hai angdai,

Ghareeb khata tha aadhi roti,
Ab Woh bhi usse chinwai,
Manhgai hans hans kar dole,
Aate ki qeemat aasman se takrai,

Koi game khaile hai adliya ki,
To koi hukumat ke jod tod ki,
Awaam ko yeh sab nahin chahiye,
Do waqt ki roTi ko woh hai roti,

Sab ne aankhen hain band ki,
Kaanon men hamare rooi hai padi,
Dekh kar bhi andhe kahlayen,
Hum awaam ki hai yeh behissi.
