Meri takhleeq se tu to mayoos hi hoga,
Na to lafzon se taraasha hai,
Inqalaab hai bharam main,
Na hi takhleeq meri main hai,kisi jehaad ki pukar,
Na hi fardaa ka koi dil-fareb sraab,
Na maazi ka paihum israar,
Na hi iss mein hai fasoon-i-alfaaz ke kartub,
Na hi nishast lootne ke andaaz,
Aur maflooz zehnon ke qabeel nahi,
Ki is main hai imqaan-i-sad-parwaaz......

Maddah = Admirer[fan].

Fardaa = Future.

Sraab = Mirage.

Paihum = Continous.

Fasoon-i-alfaaz = Tricks of words.

Nishast = Mehfil.

Maflooz zehnon = Paraliysed mind.

Imqaan-i-sad-parwaaz = Possiblities of so many flights.
