kis tarah kaate koi lail-o-nahaar- e-intizaar

unkii ulfat ka yaqeen ho unke aane kii ummiid
hon ye dono suuraten tab hai bahaar-e-intizaar

merii aahen naa-rasaa, merii duaein naa-qubuul
yaa ilaahii kya karo main sharmsaar-e- intizaar

unke khat kii aarzuu hai, unkii aamad kaa khayaal
kis qadar peilaa hua hai kaarobaar-e- intizaar
