After the terrible thing Van did. He arrived at his home looking so vulnerable. In his right hand he was holding Alice picture.
So many questions were running in his head. How Dr. Mcduff could do such a thing? Was it really the finest man who killed vampires? He was a man of moral gone bad. And why the evil man kept a picture of Alice? By any chance, are they blood related? “No it can’t be” speaks his mind. Now the toughest question is: “Who would run the world?”
He sighed. So much for this. I should take a rest. “Goodbye world.” He closed his eyes. A little later he falls asleep.
Few days later, the news all over the world is just the same and very rampant. What would happen to mother earth? Her ruler has been killed in such a terrible way. Who did this to the finest man in the world? Who? Mother Earth should avenge for her ruler. But how? Those are the question that bothers almost everyone in the world.
Every country in the world set their representatives. Saying one statement: “I AM LORD MCDUFF’S HEIR.” But not even one was given the chance to rule the world. They want a real Mcduff’s heir. Not just those hungry in power.
In Mcduff’s academy, everyone is grieving for the soul of Mcduff. He was an inspiration for most of the students especially to Alice.
Crying is the least she can do for her idol, inspiration and secretly her grandfather. Yes! Alice is a Mcduff!
“I must do something!” speaks her mind. “I should find that evil murderer. That person must die!” she added.
“Alice! Alice! Alice!” calls her friend. “Aren’t we going to eat now? You’ve been standing here for about five minutes. Are you alright? Is something wrong?” asked Katelyn, Alice best friend.
“Oh, nothing.. nothing. Don’t worry Kat I am perfectly fine. C’mon that table is available. Let’s go eat there.”
“Are you sure? Ok. Then, let’s go and fill our tummies.”
“So tell me Alice, what’s bothering you?” says Kat while eating. “Somebody made you upset? Tell me who is it and I’ll kick his ass.” she added when Alice didn’t say anything.
“C’mon Kat stop it!” it’s her way of saying: “There’s no way I am going to tell you what is wrong.”
“Fine if you say so.”
“I’m sorry.”
“For what?”
“Not telling you what is wrong.”
“Oh, it’s alright. I know you going to tell me later.” says Kat smiling. “By the way, Mrs. Atkins want to see you at her office later.
“Why?”
“I don’t know bestii. Want me to go wit you?”
“No. let’s go back now.” said Alice with a bit confusion.
“Ok. I’m already full. But y--? You haven’t finished yours?”
Silence.
After another two subjects, Alice went straight to see Mrs. Atkins.
“Good afternoon Ma’am!” Alice says politely.
“Good afternoon Ms. Alice. Seat down please. The reason why you are here, I want to ask you about your friend Van. How’s he? He’s been absent for a week now.”
“Oh, I’m sorry Ma’am; I don’t have any news about him. But I’m planning to meet him later.” She answered right away.
“Where is he? I forgot him for awhile.” thought Alice.
“Ms. Alice thank you for dropping by. You may go now.”
“Thanks Ma’am.”
Oh, it’s getting dark now. I feel hungry.” said Van. He was so tired. As if he worked for a very long time. He stares at his hand.
“My hands… What have you done? You are full of blood!? Asked he as if he was talking to someone who can really talk. “My whole being, I am thirst of blood! Fresh blood of human! I want flesh!”
He began smelling things. He was walking in the same route. Right to left and left to right. He stops when he glanced at one thing. “A book? I am not fond of books! How come I have one now? He stepped closer.
He picked up the book. Read each pages all over. A little later, his tears fell down. “It’s been a week after I killed the evil man Mcduff. How dare him! His life is not enough ransom for his debt. His clan must also die. His wrath knew no bounds.
Alice has been looking for Van for two hours now. Everybody says they didn’t know Van. “So strange.” thought Alice. Van said he was currently residing here. Did he move to other town? If so, why he didn’t tell me? Oh, I miss him so much! I wish he would come to school.”
She walked faster. “Mom must be worrying for me. I should stop looking for Van.”
When she got home, her parents were waiting. “Where have you been Alice? What took you so long?” asked her Mom. She went upstairs to avoid any conversation.
“Honey your driver searched you for two hours.” said her Dad.
“Nothing Mom. I am tired. I’ll sleep now...” shouted Alice while dressing up. “Goodnight Mom and Dad.
Her parents went upstairs. “Honey will you please open the door?” asked her Dad. She
opened it.
“What is it Dad Mom?”
“We just brought you some milk. Drink it first before you sleep.” said her Mom smiling.
“Thanks Mom.” she gets the milk and put it on her table. Her parents gave a goodnight kiss and she kissed back.
She gets her milk. And throw it away. It’s funny when her parents think that she really drinks her milk. Thought she likes its color, she hated milk. But she never tell her parents about this, because she believe she might hurt their feelings”
