A Call For Help

Gita looked at the piece of wood that had just fallen from the sky with a puzzled expression. It had something carved on it and she wanted to figure out what it was. She picked it up and tried to decipher what the engraving said. The words seemed to be from an ancient language, which she had never heard of. How could she find out what it said?
That evening Gita visited the library and searched for a book on ancient languages. But, she had no success there. As she was returning, she suddenly fell and slid down an underground passage and found herself in a large dark cave. Suddenly she started to hear some strange sounds and saw some rabbits in black and white coming out of the dark.
She spoke up in a scared voice, "Where am I? Why am I here?"
Their leader said, "You are the chosen one. You have the powers. It was us who had made the piece of wood reach you. You have to save us. The indiscriminate cutting of trees is destroying our environment. Many of the rabbits have already lost their lives. And if this continues, there will be no more rabbits seen in near future."
Gita asked, "How can I help you?"
The leader said, "You have to plant more and more trees so that our environment recovers and we may live a secure life."
Gita said, "I promise you all, I'll try my level best to save you all."
Then she returns to the surface world and protests against deforestation, joining her hands with some of her neighbors and friends.
In a few weeks the underground world retrieves to its original state and the rabbits thereafter lived happily and securely.
